Batman "Bane" Sig

Just got done with it. How does it look?

 

Looks like greenish black is that how u ment to do it?

 

Yeah, lol... its just the color i decided to use for the image

 

I dislike it, and I can't find any constructive criticism, what I did come up with just sounded like absolute nitpicking. I type as I critique, and I can usually soften my CnC with positive feedback too, but I just don't like it at all. Low contrast and heavy photo filters/gradient maps makes it look like a puddle of green and gray, and I don't like the symmetry of the background effects. That's basically the gist of my qualms with it

 

Well i used the green and grey for a reason, i think of Bane as a dark person and i tried to make the photo gloomy and dark. But thanks for the feedback

 

That lighting needs a lot of work. It looks like the effects themselves are giving off light but none is showing on the focal. Next is there is way too much negative space for the composition, and the composition is really thrown off by the centered focal which is a big no-no. Centered focals do not work most of the time and this is one of those times.

 

I guess you just don't value criticism.

Also the cinematic border and the extreme lack of depth really messes up the look.

 

Way to much negative space and render shouldn't be in the middle exactly.

 

It clearly lacks any lighting in the whole signature, that's all I'll say as you clearly cant take criticism from looking at your last post.

No no, i thank you for your criticism, i wasn't trying to "insult" you. Its just that people have their own techniques and design methods.. I personally think it looks really good, i love the darkness and the gloom of the picture.. Thats what i made it that way. Another thing, multiple people have said it, why shouldn't the render be in the middle? If i put it off to one of the other sides it would still leave a lot of Negative space.. Also where is the lack of depth?

 

Centered focal - Rules of third, google it.
Depth - there is no effects that give it a 3d sense. The entire point of a tag is to make it look 'realistic'. As if all of the image was there to begin with.
Negative space - You add more effects to balance the negative and positive effects.

It is all basic tagging principles.

 

Mkay.. and yeah i know what rule of thirds is lol.. Idk I'm not much of a sig maker, more into making youtube backgrounds.. But thanks for the tips, ill use them the next time i make a sig..

 

Pretty hard to see, the effects you have started around his body are pretty nice but could use work and there is to much blank space left on each side. Good luck in future works

 

Bad ass! i love the kind of glow going up the chains, looks really nice, what do guys all use? does everyone use photoshop? i want to get back into graphics design but i really fail hard at it ._.
