First-Shooters: Way better than any other games!

I'm an addict for first shooters for xbox, ps, and the pc. To me it's the best games forever! Counter-strike, Combat Arms, Call of Duty, Left 4 dead just to name a few. They are seriously the best games out there? Agree? Disagree?

If there not the best games out there, what is?

 

Yup, I'm addicted to l4d currently, I almost got 100% achievements for it.

 

Not really FPS's but Bullet Slingers in general are amazing. Then you have games that aren't even in that category that contain guns and flying metal slugs which = L0V3. Fallout3 is an example of this.

 

FPS requier more skill and you can actually become good in such a game, that's why it's fun. To compete with other players on who's the best.

agreed. halo 3 cod l4d runescape is pretty good though

 

I don't think they're the best genre. I play them to unwind, but I think the best genre of game is RTS because you're actually made to think about strategy rather than run and gun and hope you hit the target.

One thing I will say though, is that shooters on any console absolutely fail. The control mechanism is terrible for aiming.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Counter-Strike 1.6 & Source are the best FPS's.

 

I think first person shooters are the best also. Haven't been able to play any of mine for the last few months since my PSU blew and I had to take my graphics card out :/

 

Americas Army for Pc, realistic and fun. Killzone 2 is just plain fun. I'm just gonna throw Socom Confrontation in there even though it's 3rd person. The online is good because you actually need to strategize and communicate with your team. Plus, who doesn't like one big f*cked up 256 man war.
