Ban risk from OSRS PVM services

Hi all - fairly new here and considering buying PVM services for OSRS. I would appreciate advice on the following, assuming that all providers used are high vouches/positive rep on Sythe:

1. Are the ban rates for PVM/boosting services (CG, ToA, Pest Control, MTA, etc.) as low as providers claim? Most providers say services are extremely low risk, like <1% of orders result in bans, but it's a bit hard to trust coming directly from the potential seller. Note: I would be purchasing with $, not in-game GP.

2. Providers have suggested not using a VPN, and instead logging in directly from their IPs within countries like Venezuela or Pakistan; is this really the safest way to do it?

3. When these higher rep providers say they do everything by hand and don't bot anything, is that usually true? I know botting at CG and TOA has a high ban rate, so if there's a common trend of botting anyway, I'd probably avoid buying.

4. Is there anything else I should know to minimize ban risk from buying services/KC?

Understand there's no 100% answer to these and that RWT is inherently risky - just looking to get a sense of magnitude of the risk and couldn't find any clear answers to these questions via search/Google.

There are a couple to avoid IMO on Sythe.

Any provider that has multiple 'false bans' is a no go.

Any provider under paying their workers, again IMO, under 80% of proceeds is exploitation of both buyer and worker.

Why? Only infernal capes are checked for third party logins. Everything elsed is completely fine as long as yoy dont do something as dumb and going on GE saying you just got fire cape done by service or some other stupidity of that sort

 

I agree make sure the people working and doing the services are well taken care of. If the middleman is taking a large portion the service will probably suffer as result.

1. Usually, yes. I am a provider for a discord and we have done a couple hundred tickets since opening in September of last year, and we have had no bans. A lot of these were done on log-in, but some have been done via parsec for the customer's peace of mind.

2. I do not personally know whether or not this is safer.

3. Usually, yes. The higher the reputation, the better the chance of this being true. Of course, the only way to know this for 100% certainty would be to watch them on a stream or something while they performed the service, or if they parsec'd onto your computer.

4. One tip I like to give is for service providers to use the global F Key plugin on their runelite, that way when they log on to a customers account there is no change in settings moments prior to completing end-game content for the first time.

Also, say for example, you are wanting to purchase Blood Torva. It may be worthwhile to get a few kcs of the normal boss completed first, or even going in to the awakened versions a couple times and dying. Would seem less suspicious if you have failed attempts, instead of logging on and having never been to DT2 Bosses, 1 'n done all of them in 30 minutes.
