First background

After seeing the guide on making a background I decided to try and make one. I'm not experienced at all with photoshop, just know the basics of it ;P. I'd like to hear what others think of it cus its hard to judge my own work.

This is the first time i ever attempted making one so dont be to hard on me! :embar:

The only thing I'm not happy about are the amount of sparckles on the background and also if you look at the wing of the phoenix you'll see it's a bit pixelated there but thats caused by the bad quality the fire picture had, i tried using different types of blurs but it didnt look good.

Any tips would be more than welcome =)

 

It looks cool, but the phoenix might have been better used in a smaller piece since it is a bit small.

 

Ooh very nice I link how it all "fits together" wit ha nice flow and blended nicely But like Imagine said maybe tone down the size of the surrounding a bit. It's a very nice piece still

 

i think it is awesome looks so sick how do you do stuff like this what programs are needed

 

I love the last one it's pretty cool ma keep it up

 

Also: You could probably try to filter -> noise -> remove noise to get rid of some stars (on the stars layer, obv).

 

Phoenix is sexyy.

 

it looks ok...but the phoenix should have been the other way, less blended in and in a better position...

 

Extreme looking I'll say.

Try using something for the stars though, seems as if there's too much noise there.
