first c4d signature

Hey all, so I'm pretty good at Photoshop so far, so I decided to give cinema 4d a try. My signature is my first attempt. What do you think? What can I do better? Where can I learn some new skills? Thanks.

Try changing your perspective to a straight on view instead of angled. Look up some tutorials on fillet caps/extrude nurbs, they'll help the text look less flat. Good first attempt keep at it mate.

 

To add onto what Zippy has said, you should always import your C4D work into Photoshop to add effects and what-not to it. It looks very bland currently and is unappealing.

 

Exactly, making the text in Cinema4D is just the beginning. Take it into photoshop and enhance the colors/add effects/textures etc.

I don't see anything wrong with the pesrpective, its just missing some 'pizzaz' Sometimes its good to be unique and not follow what others do. Just build your own path on how to carry things out. For this piece you would definitely need to add more effects to it as it does look rather bland.
