My New Sig

I now have a new sig. Thoughts? The black bit wasn't intended (it was supposed to be orange) But I couldn't get rid of it so I kept it because it looked pretty nice.

It is quite decent. however i think you over-used the c4d's. Try using some effects along side the c4d's instead of just piling them all together. The title doesn't stand out much from the c4d's background as well.

Its pretty decent though.

 

Try makeing it look smoother in Photoshop, it's not too hard.
Get some soft glows on it, a drop shadow and maybe another text layer with blur over it, put the blending mode on soft light / color dodge and put it at around 50%, makes the colours a heck softer.
The background is kindof messy, I wouldn't stick with it, stay with your thing and don't go overkill, as it kills it.

Yeah that BG was mostly unintentional. I think I get what you mean with your suggestions, I'll soften the image up some. The one C4D effect I used is a bit extreme, but I can't figure out how to apply the FX to a spline. The main issue with the FX ( the way I see it) is that I only now understand that the text object should something different than my Name (For example, applying an effect to XNONX looks pretty cool independently of the foreground
