i tried to pull a kiabin and epiclly failed.....

i saw a tut and started to follow it... but then i got confused and added my own shizzz to it, its mainly my idea. also first time using a pencil.... look crppy? tried sumthing new with the light source as well.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure not many people use the "pencil" tool, but who am I

V2 looks pretty cool

 

v2 is nice but v1 looks like a paint phail . erase part of the yellow pencil that goes over the c4d tho.

 

Yea... i thought the pencil part made it cool looking.

i was looking Kiabin's sigs and i was like OMGOSH i wanna do it. then i failed :[

there are different times when you should use the pencil, and this sig is not one of those.

 

Kiabin uses clipping masks, you just scribbled a few lines which have no flow to them, sorry.

 

ha true, idk what he does with his sigs. it just looks cool.

 

The second one is better, but the border isn't good imo. Background colour is bland and empty. The lighting looks like old school soft brushing, but not as good. Colours and effects themselves are really random, and I think you could have filled up more of the negative space.

I call for a remake
