They're not the best thing I've seen, but it's the same way I started. At least you're trying to blend. You should try getting solid backgrounds and decorate them using c4ds with layer settings.

 

alright ill try that. never worked with c4ds before though

 

It's very easy, it's just resizing the c4d and switching the layer setting. Don't use render flames or fractals in the background like you've been doing. It's a good way to start, but can drift you off the road in no time.
