If you get caught using a Bot, Banned or deranked?

Just wondering if you get caught using a bot will you get perm banned? Or will that skill just get reset? Also how can you get caught using one?

 

Use the search bar.
If you are a member you get a 14 day ban. Your skills(randomly chosen it seems) get rolled back and your wealth gets rolled back.

Even though Jagex does have automatic methods for finding botter they rely heavily on player reports.

 

sorry Im new to the forums so I never knew to search before. So if you get caught its only a 14 day ban Not a PERM ban?

 

fed up of reading these.... your stats normally get halfed in xp ALL OF THEM happened to me 9years membership

I had an Obby Mauler that had 60 STR rolled back to 10 STR, although I think I got rolled back due to that Rune Mini-game in Al Kharid. I used it a few times and made some quick cash.

Some get rolled-back, whilst others don't. Its random.

 

I just got my account unbanned. I botted frost drags on it and made well over 200m with that bot. I got a 14 day ban, and no stats/wealth were reset

 

Youre lucky, my frost account got rolledback and all the exp was halved made 100m tho im happy lol

Because Jagex just wants your money. they wont ban you because they know you've preobably paid 5.99-22.99 A month on their game
