Firecape on 1 def pure using flasks without sweets

im looking for guides and tips about getting firecape on 1 def pure without using purple sweets.
Id like to know a good set up of inventory ( i think i have the best equipment fury,ranger, robin etc). I will be using flasks so id like to know how much of each to use.
I was wondering if i should use a poly staff instead of karils bow as my stats are [87 range 99 mage 83 hp 52 pray]
and i heard there were new safespots but i cant find any vids on yt about them.

PP staff would be way better at 99 mage. Vecna skull should definitely be used. Idk much more, sorry.

you obviously havent been to jad in the past 2 weeks..

aside from that you should be fine with flasks if you dont use sweets

Depending on your range level, if you are 80+ use 3 ranging flask, under that use 4. For sara brew flasks 5-6 (what ever you are comfortable with). Using a Sara bow with 100 sara arrows would do just fine, still spending the same amount if you were to use sweets. as for your gear

head: mitre>robin
Neck: Fury>glory>ranging ammy
Torso: monk robe>god robe top> leather top
legs: best d'hide you can wear
feet: ranger>rock climbing>boots
ring: archers>recoil>none
Weapon: Karils bow(if 70+,3k-4k racks)>if not rune knifes with a god book
cape: god cape(if using karils bow)>accumulator>obby

As for the safe spots, I'll have to get back to you on that one. and if you need proof, just look at my avatar. Thats my account and yes it has firecape. 1def with 70 range. If you are comfortable with letting someone get firecape for you, I could point you in the direction of someone very trustworthy. got me a firecape on my failed Berserker pure.

Okay i'm 70 range 1 def 43 pray pure and I got fire cape on new caves. Safe spot for absolutely every wave is the south west corner, there's a little rock that juts out and everything gets stuck on it if you stand directly in a line behind it. Even jad will get stuck unless he spawns in that corner, in which case you simply click north of the rock and voila, he's stuck again.

Before I did caves, I made sure to beat the new quest The Elder Kiln, which was pretty easy on my pure, to get the tzhaar ring which boosts damage by +10% to tzhaar creatures.

Then I used rune cbow, broad/addy bolts, same equipment as you. I brought 1 range pot (4), 13 super restore flask (6) and 14 saradomin brew (6).

That's more than enough potions and you'll definitely have left overs at the end, but it's better to be safe than sorry

I recently got firecape on my pure as well, he was 85 range.
This is what my inventory looked like.
9 Sara Brews, 14 Super Restores, 3 Prayer Renewals, and 1 Ranging. Obviously, these are all flasks, making your life a whole lot easier.
Purple sweets in this case are a waste seeing as how they are 10k each now.

There is 2 safe spots I liked to use, the old italy boot safe spot which is located on the west side of the map. It doesn't look like the italy boot, but it's still a safe spot. And the South east corner safe spot.

For the waves with just a range/mage and the melee guy, I chose the south east corner cause everything would get trapped there.

For the waves with a range AND a mage, I chose the west(italy boot) safe spot because depending on the spawn of the ranges/mages, you can easily lure them into wherever you want them to go.

Since you are a pure, I would strongly advise you to wait for your hp to regenerate in a safespot instead of brewing it up because you save more potions that way.

As for the Gear, wear anything that helps with pray and range.

My set up was something like This
Mitre
Fury
Rune Crossbow + Runite bolts
Black D'hide chaps
Avas accumulator
Monk's robe top
Ranger Boots
and Archers Ring
and a Regen Bracelet so your hp regenerates faster.

When going up against Range/Mage, protect Mage over Range, and try to kill the Ranger as quickly as possible to prevent even more damage.
