There is an app, but it's unnecessary. Just do it from imgur.com

I do not personally own any, no. I live in the barracks, and to own a weapon I would have to store it in the unit arms room. Not worth the hassle.

I'm glad to see this is alive again!

Since my last pic post the only thing I picked up was a Pre-Remlim Marlin 30-30 lever gun =), I'll have to take a pic and post it up!

Just today though I've been eyeballing the mossberg MVP hard...I'm particularly interested in the 18.5in barrel 308 version. I picked it up today and it feels pretty damn solid, although I wasn't too impressed with how smooth the action is.

The pro's Im seeing so far
    - free floated
    - Accepts detachable mags
    - Compact
    - Price Point of 560 at my local gunshop

Marlin 336? If so thats the same gun I shot my first deer with.

I too like the mvp, ive been eyeballing the .223 version for plinking. Cheap mags, cheap ammo and its a great varmint gun. Granted they are all 600+ around here. Do they all come with the laminated stocks?

Stone that action to smooth it up and its pretty buttery.

Thats exactly what it is! Good form on choice of rifle to hunt with, or someones choice...don't know how young you were when you went out your first time! Its really a great rifle, accurate, reliable, tight/compact/light, packs a nice punch and we can't forget about its cool factor =).

Yeaa the trick is find one without the package deal (rifle and scope combo)! Another gun shop by me is selling the MVP Patrol for 790...way too god damn high, but hes always gouging prices that's why his shop is always full with guns!

Yeaaa they're all wood stocks with laminate...even the "tacti-cool" ones that come in OD green or Tan. Not going to lie though, the one I found for 560 had a tan stock and I was actually really feeling it! I was thinking the same thing about the stone as well! I even went as far to see if anyone made any aftermarket bolts for it because it really is choppy and loose even with the mag in...I'd imagine it'll be tighter when there are rounds in the mag though. Maybe next week I'll have a pretty picture of the new rifle I bought haha.

The 336 was my dads, I was around 9-10. 30-30 is a great round, can kill anything on the continent and has light recoil even in the little carbines. I have always had a sweet spot for lever guns. Would like to own another 336 later on.

What detachable mags does rhe .308 mvp take? AR-10's?

Yea phenomenal little rifle for sure! When you do get one try and find one that Marlin actually made, Remington took them over and people have been complaining about quality control left and right on the new 336's!

They say the MVP in 308 actually accepts ar-10 mags and M1A Mags, it seems like everyone has been running Pmag's in them though because its a little tighter with less wobble.

Have you seen/tried mossbergs tacticooled out 30-30? I had the chance to shoot one and I was almost ashamed I enjoyed myself!

Action was slick as owl shit.

HAHAHA, thats pretty god damn slick!! I haven't shot it, I did hold it and rack the thing open a handful of times and you're right it is buttery smooth! I kinda hate to say it but its a pretty nifty little rifle, collapsible stock makes an already small rifle even tighter and easier to store, polymer everywhere so ya know its weather proof, shoots a 30-30 cartridge...honestly whats not to love about it. Although I couldn't buy one, something about the classic look and feel of a lever gun I couldn't do without.

I know the feeling, but after shooting it with a red dot I was reconsidering. If I see one on sale cheap ill buy it and not tell anyone lol.

Lol I dont go to the range. My gf's dad loves me and owns ~60 acres. We have been toying with tannerite out there, the low velocity stuff seems to blow up bigger than the high velocity mix. It also goes off with pistol calibers which is pretty sweet. I need to stock up before that shit is outlawed.

If you arent familiar with it I suggest you look it up on YT and buy some ASAP.

Ohh I know what that shit is and I'm surprised they didn't outlaw it yet actually lol. That stuff is awesome, and cheap for it can do haha.

That's awesome though that you guys shoot out on the property, I used to do that when I was stationed in KY! Since you're out there I would highly suggest investing in a dueling tree. Dude those things are sooo much fun, especially when you have someone else there to have a competition with. Low caliber pistols/rifles...you'll literally entertain yourselves for hours arguing over/proving who the better shot is!

Ive got one of those self resetting .22 steel targets. Id like one for pistols, maybe I should go buy some steel plate and make one. Ive recently taken up welding so that would be a pretty neat project if I get around to it.

Came across a deal too good to pass up on an oddball pistol. The cz52, shoots the armor (even kevlar!) Piercing 7.62 25 bottlenecked cartridge. The slide is on rollers like an open bolt SMG!?! Originated the two button fieldstrip glock shamelessly copied. Originally got it to flip but after shooting it im not so sure about parting with it. Got it cheap with 250 rounds. Its one of the most accurate semi autos I have ever shot. Has a crack pretty comparable to a hot .357 load. I fucking love milsurp.

Adding a recoil buffer to the ak as the cheek slap is a bitch. Got 240 rds down the barrel, breaking in nicely. Great accuracy for an AK variant.

Picked up a 16 gun Safari fireproof gunsafe at a good price yesterday. Will do well phasing out my cheapo stackon cabinet.

It says 16 long guns but they would be ALL over eachother. Maybe 10. Going to mod it a little, add a shelf. Add a prop for holding up the far shorter AK and so forth.

Cmon out gun nuts or enthusiasts. Even those with a passing interest!

Got an eotech 552 on order. Also decided to buy an aimpoint clone from Ali express for my 10/22.

Plan on putting the eotech on my AK on a Midwest industries side rail.

I know eotechs sit high so not sure how that'll work out, got a tie on ammo pouch/cheek riser otw just in case.

Even if the eotech doesn't work out on the AK I'll be building an AR soon so no worries.

Reddog (or other guys who mess with them), may want to ask some questions on AR's as I haven't built one from ground up before. Plan on using a PSA lower.

Bumppp maybe some newfags are gun nuts.

i have a glock 19c. love the thing with the ports on the top. super loud. also my gun shop near me sells "destructive devices" IE a shotgun that has been cut down very short. Short enough to no longer be considered a "gun" but you have to apply for a $5 federal tax stamp and wait a while to get it. Also it is about $800 a little out of my price range at the moment.

I've been contemplating getting a SBR tax stamp or silencer tax stamp.

I don't need a super short shotty, I've got an 18" Mossberg 500 with pistol grip. It would be nice to cut it down to about 15" then it'd be flush with the mag.

Ever consider a mako rail for your glock? Maybe am RMR or other tiny reddot? www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0010DQ21M/r...=mako+rail&dpPl=1&dpID=41ei-xPXwlL&ref=plSrch

They make a universal rail I've been wanting to get for a cz, been wanting to reddot a pistol ever since I shot a friends fnx with an rmr on it.

I know I'm late to the party here but thought I'd chime in.

Went shooting back in October, pulled out my dad's Colt 357 Magnum as well as a friend's Mosin Nagant and went up to the hills to plink off some rounds. That mosin was a blast to shoot, we ended up spending 400+ rounds in the colt, and 200+ in the mosin before the day was over.
