    AVI files via MSN

Is it possible to send AVI files via MSN or AIM. Just wondering cause I convert my DVDs to AVI and save on my computer and some friends have been asking me to send them to them. Or could I make it an attached file in an email. Any answers would be greatly appreciated!

If you use hotmail.com the email attachment limit is <10MB.

Sending over msn is possible, but it would take a very long amount of time for a feature length DVD.

You're much better of uploading to www.rapidshare.com and giving the download link to your mates.

You can send any file through msn. its just really slow. what you should do is chop it up into parts and put it on rapidshare or something.

EDIT: or megaupload that can hold 500mb files and rapidshare can hold 100mb.

MSN is actually pretty useful for sending, you can send anything except .bat and .exe. Just make sure you have a fast connection.

For sending files <6MB it suffices, after that it's just to slow.
