Fire cape attempt

Ok, I tried fire cape yesterday. Found easy until the 360's but it was taking me too long to kill them. So I now have ruby bolts.
Stats: 89 range
80 defence
50 prayers
Is this set up ok?

Don't go just for ruby bolts, you need dragon bolts (e) as well. Try to look up more guides on youtube for your level(ish).

 

karils cbow 2.5k bolt racks and more prayer gear and u should be fine..

 

You don't need ruby bolts or dragon, that's just over spending. All you need is standard addy bolts. If you want you can bring like 50 diamond tipped ones for Jad. I'd advise you replace those rocktail with 2 more range pots, this will speed the caves up for you
Honestly though it should'nt be slow at 89 range, 89 is really high in terms of fight caves. In fact you should even wear verac skirt for def + prayer since you really don't need all that range bonus.
Also barrows gloves if you have them

 

This is enough but having better equipment e.g. Verac's Skirt will help. Your stats are very fit for this task. The only thing you could do better is increase the prayer level but it wouldn't make a big difference.

 

How long will the whole thing take?

 

the whole cave takes like 2 hours i think it says.

 

few things
1) use neiti helm, it gives pray bonus
2) do NOT use ruby bolts, when you spec with them they drain your hp.
3) I suggest using broad tipped bolts or adamant bolts.

I see no need for rocktails, 2 brews would be much better..

Actually, 2 rocktails are fine, they'll be good if you're low hp and you need a quick heal, rock+brew combo.
Just my opinion tho.

1. DO NOT USE RUBY BOLTS (E). It drain's your HP when it uses the special.

2. Try using Verac Helm and Skirt. Or using a Neizinot Helm. Try replacing your black D'Hide Vambraces to either Barrows Gloves or Regen Bracelet. Wear an Explorer Ring Three or an Archers Ring (I). Use Broad Tipped Bolts or Adamant Bolts. Also, bring Diamond bolts.

3. There's no need for the two rocktails. Replace them with Saradomin Brews.

No, that's a total waste, unless you're only using it for jad, stick with broad bolts+diamond(E),broad for caves, diamond (e) for jad.
