Question On Paypal. Anti-Scam?

Hey, I'm about to open up a firecape shop, and I'm aware you need Paypal to transfer money.

I have some questions, because I've heard alot about it.

1. What do I need to open up a Paypal account?

2. How do I ensure I don't get scammed? (I've heard people can take money back etc.)

 

Okay, I'm really experienced with PayPal.

1. To open up a PP link you CreditCard& OR Bank account. Note; If you add your CC you'll need to get verified when you hit the 700$ limit. Also if 2-3people make a dispute on you, you'll HAVE to get verified, which means, then, you'll be limited,

Can't send money etc. You can still receive it.

For safe transactions,
I suggest you get the buyer to send the money under -Personal.

Gift/Payment owed/ Services.

With the note: I have already bought my virtual item and in no shape or form will I attempt to chargeback.

If it's a big trade, make sure you verify there home number/address before any trade, as they could be using a Hacked PayPal account which would result in a Un authorized charge against you and 100% will be refunded.

And... Oh, you can tell if they gifted the money or not via reading the email notification you get from PayPal notifiying you received the money, If the email has there address in the email. So just refund it and tell them to gift it.

So if they send as a gift, there's no way they can take it back?

Someone said that if for example, if the price is $10, I receive $10, but thats not what they pay?

 

90% they can't take it back. If the buyer used a hacked PayPal 100% of the time it can.

I'm not sure what you mean by paying 10$ but no actually paying the whole amount..

 

I made some mistakes on my first post.

When you get a email from PayPal, if it has there address, It means they did not gift it and you should refund it or get them to CLAIM & CANCEL.

A guide should be stickied under RSBlackmarket.

This may not be the greatest option. PayPal don't support "Virtual item trades" and may side with the buyer.

 

Problem is. They don't support it,

But in their Terms and conditions, PayPal doesn't protect buyers who purchase online goods.

So it's a win situation.

 

Pretty much this. If you make sure the payment is sent properly, you should win most disputes.

just as an added security get them to say soemthing like " i agree not to dispute this transaction" or something when they send as a gift

all you need is an email i believe and you can put ur credit card and bank account onto it.

but to make sure u dont get scammed all you need to do is make sure they send it as a gift and they cant dispute it
