Amount of memory is based on the motherboard.
2gb seems exceedingly low for a memory cap though.

Personally I'd just look into another computer all together.

The motherboard you're going to need to support your processors socket is going to be hard to find. After a few minutes on google I was only able to find these boards.

There's also no guarantee these will work because I'm not sure of the form factor of the case and whether oems even follow atx standards.

As he said, the maximum memory supported depends on your motherboard. That computer must be absolute junk--I wouldn't pay a dime for it. If you get into replacing your motherboard and your ram, why buy that computer in the first place?

another guy buying a PC thats basically worthless. Save ur money up and build your own custom PC that can acutally last for more than a week. And btw, all the pieces in that thing is outdated, upgrading it will be difficult without searching for artifacts.
*early version of lga755 limites you to the early version of core 2 duo which is already outdated to most softwares. The motherboard only has 1 sata 2 port with single IDE port which limites you to ancient readers and hdd.

DO NOT BUY THIS, I can find one on the street thats fast as this.
