    Okay,
Well.. long story short i have a droid incredible 2, loved it great phone rooted it custom rom whole 9 yards :p

But anyways.. about 5 days ago tried plugging in usb charger cable and guess what? The charging bay thingy..(sorry don't know what to call it lol i'm super tired..) fell out... needless to say i was like well i pay 10$ a month for insurance i'm good.. right? WRONG.

Paid $100 w/ 2yr contract for it.. and they want $100 for reconditioned one which is complete bull shit since I can go on craigslist and get one for $150.. give or take..

Anyone else been through this scenario or something alike?
    Post 'em here /:

Oh, i'm also using verizon but it doesn't matter what company you have or were using.. i'd also like to know (IN YOUR OPINION) which one has a better insurance policy for this kind of stuff..

Please no hate, just alota love.

I too have Verizon and a Droid X2. I dread the day it breaks because I know I'm going to have to pay fees and shit like that. Also, I believe that by rooting your phone, you void the warranty (and possibly the insurance) on the phone. I would think you could go and buy your own phone and bring it to them, as long as it's one distributed by Verizon because they don't use SIM cards. I'm not sure if the insurance will still cover you or not, but a while back I used mine like 3 times in a month for a new phone because my LG Chocolate (yeah, when those were cool) kept breaking and I remember having to pay every time just about.. Not sure which carriers have a better policy.
