Well, we don't get many advertisers (as far as I know) but it's pretty easy for someone to keep creating accounts with proxies and advertise throughout the entire forum. My suggestion is to block all links outside sythe.org, and also recognizing [dot], etc and other methods to bypass the filter.
If this suggestion was also put in, you could set a certain amount of posts needed to be reached for links outside of sythe.org to not be filtered. It shouldn't be too low, though - having it in a med-infested post rate (say 150-300) it'd be much harder for someone to spam hundreds of posts to advertise before getting noticed - not to mention they wouldn't be bothered anyway.

As far as I know it isn't going on much - but knowing all the hungry scammers and their disposal of free hosts and *** domains, they'd be spamming the forum to advertise to scam. So even if it isn't happening much (it may be, though, might be just the mods get to them first before I see it) it's still a problem.

    I, disagree becuase its stupid....
I mean seriously then who the hell who want to come to this site? Like on my website (its brand new by the way) lets say i advertised sythe www.sythe.org but on sythe if i post my link to my own website and they block it wouldent really be fair. I do all the hard work to get them members and in return i cant do the same and advertise my own site.

and 150-300 wow that is dumb.

I TOTALLY DISAGREE (Also where the hell on the site do you see spamming website ads?) i never see them true i dont post much but i do go to EVERY SECTION of this website.

No, that's just silly, links aren't that bad of a problem. What if someone wants to post a PK Video, or something? Nope, doesn't make sense.
