I want to re-create the Falador Massacre! It IS possible! Make history!!!

Hello. Well as many of you know, on 6/6/06 Cursed_you was celebrating level 99 construction. Many people went straight to the dungeon, where you can fight other players. Well he then got bored and expelled everyone at once, and there were so many people there that anyone in the dungeon was granted the power to attack outside of wilderness without retaliation from their victims. Though many people say that this could not be re-created, evidence proves that it very well could.

Members were applying this idea to shutting down entire servers with mass-logouts, and guess what, they worked. They were able to bring down the runescape servers numerous times in protest.

So I got one of my friends to be my co-leader in the project, and we then thought "We need help." So who better than the forum bent on messing with runescape, yes, Sythe.

We need your help. Whoever can come and help us out, just post a reply here we need AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE.


There were only about 500-1000 people expelled at once, which isn't a whole lot. We just need everyone to help out.

The original lasted about an hour before the attackers were caught and disconnected, and it happened in the middle of the night for the UK, where the Jagex headquarters resides. That means that if we can plan it out to happen at the same time, it will take hours for Jagex staff to notice.

I do not plan to take any loot, and I also plan to use a different account. Just whatever you do, remember that a timer will be kept for under 1 hour, so that nothing can be done.


The time has come to show Jagex that we mean business.

You cant recreate it. Jagex fixed it and this is pointless.... They arent going to "oh just leave it i doubt itll happen again lets not fix that huge bug"

 

That's where you're wrong. Mass-ANYTHING can set off a Jagex server, that was proved true with the mass-logout server lags.

 

Actually thats where your wrong. How come world 2 is never affected? Or how about all the riots etc on the 10th? It was a flaw in the POH and they fixed it is all. Dont even start this crap and no one here is going to help you. Youll get 5 people at most.

 

You're retarted. Fuck off, it's area based. If you knew anything about bugging you would know that EVERYTHING is area-based now. That is why the original 6/6/6 bug worked ONCE and only ONCE. Jagex realized their mistake and patched it. If you expel everyone from a house with 350 people in it, the server would just read it as 350 people expelled. There is no reason why 1000 people logging out of 1 world or 1000 people getting expelled from a house would do anything to the server. You fail.

I think, you must realize, that Jagex is not fucking retarted. They would shut down servers that had protesters on it because they don't want them to protest?

This wont work simply because the bug was reported and as soon as jagex find out theres a bug its fixed within a few hours or even minutes.

Won't work its obviously been fixed, they wouldn't leave something that could do immense damage to be re-created and abused. Now tell me.. is taking a server down different then making a glitch in the server? My conclusion you will just take down the server if anything.... therefore no massacre anyways.
