stress hairs at a young age

im getting stress hairs at a young age. i can see some stress hairs on the side of my head, and a couple not too many on top of my head. i think its sort of a turn off if i were to look for women.

any recommendations on how i could relieve stress?

Stress hairs? As in grey hairs? Or balding?
First thing you need to think about is what are you stressing over? If you know what you're stressing over then you need to get to the solution, I'm not sure exactly what you're stressing over but take some time away, take a breather and just remember it may just be a rough patch, or if you're in school and stressing about exams, think positive.

Stress hairs as in Grey hair. I should've mentioned that in my original post and no, I am not losing hair yet.

I am in my mid 20's right now, starting freshman yr in college this fall. Pretty stressful since i'm under college grade level for my english and math.

Just color your hair with a box dye found at your local super market, not a big deal so don't worry about it. There's lots of people who get grey hair who are a lot younger then you also worrying about it will only cause more unnecessary stress that you don't need.

I'd look online if I was you and read some other peoples stories about suffering with grey hairs at a young age it may ease your stress knowing how common it really is.

Just use dye if you're that worried. To be honest, no girl is going to be bothered by your hair... And if they are, they're shallow and don't deserve you anyway.

Ah, I understand your stress then.
I stress huge about school, it's literally on my mind 24/7 and it's just constant stress as to whether I can get good enough grades. Just take some time to yourself once a day, I was studying like a mad house up until last week when holidays arrived and for the past week or so I've just given it to myself to study 1-2 hours a day and do whatever I want for the rest, and on Monday when school starts again I'm going to study like mad, remember to take some time to yourself and stop stressing, over studying is actually bad for you (thanks to Shoop for pointing that out to me in another thread)

Keep positive, stick to schedule and you'll find yourself stress free in no time.

Figure out what's causing so much stress, and also it might be because of your diet, so I would suggest to consult a doctor for this. You can hide them by coloring your hair but I heard that too much of coloring it would make black hair turn grey, too. So be careful. Good luck!

i don't have health insurance and it expired when i turned 18.

normally, I would just shave my head (not skin head) but #1 or #2. But even if I do this, if I really have a lot of stress hairs, it'll look very noticable.

I have stress hair on side of my head, one-two pieces of stress hair on my front head near the widow, and probably a shit load on the back of my head.

im going back to school, study english/math and maybe science like a hardcore but really, i have learning problems or do I?

Im planning on enlisting in the armed forces for the US of America this 2013/2014. Hopefully, I get a nice score on my asvab/afqt for AF and if I don't, i'll just go army active. that way, i can live for free, take advantage of dental/medical insurance that they offer and make some income while serving for america.

those are my plans as of now. im more of a "computer" person. I spent over my entire life starting from 3rd or 4th grade until college sophomore/junior yr ( but technically, im a freshman since i never attended school in college for over 3 yrs now

i dont know if im really stressed or not... i still have not acknowledged what stress really means or how to identify yourself if you're stressed. i researched that worrying about things are examples of stress?

    Worry = Stress?

Yeah worry = stress pretty much.
Did your father/grandfather get grey hairs at a young age?

Honestly though... At your age, nobody is going to give a flying fuck what your hair looks like. This might have been an issue in high school or something but people generally stop caring what other people look like when they get older.

I already started college and i am taking 2 remedial classes.

Don't get stressed out over college, it really isn't as big of deal as everyone makes it out to be. Just go in do your work and leave. You literally just get a piece of paper saying that you are a graduate but it's the one holding it that makes it happen.

Just be strong brother, really do things for yourself whether it be buying a longboard or biking or hiking.
    Paintballing, meditating, photography, writing.

Do things outside of school to chill you out man and realize that life is as stressful as you make it. School is NOT a big deal. The manager of the branch of wells fargo in my county is making a 6 figure salary with only leaving the Marines. No college or nada.

Life is what you make it, if you want stress then you got it, if you want peace then you got it.

Just remember George Clooney AND you can dye your hair by the way, it is not a big deal at all.
