Feedback on new Signature + Avatar

Take a look at my avatar and signature. I made a thread in the Runescape Pictures and videos section, and everyone seemed to like the outfit I am using in my signature the best. So... What do you think of everything else?

I made this in a free program called Paint.net.

Still kind of new so looking for any constructive criticism or suggestions.

One thing I was thinking is that I should mabey move the "Vouches" and other writing at the bottom towards the center more. Y/N?

 

Why do you always use the same effect in your signature mate? Try to learn some different effects. If you continue the same style of signature it starts to get kinda dull.

 

Only my second signature so far. Still trying to learn some effects, soft of limiting with free software. I'm always looking to experiment though. This was just one of the only things I knew how to do.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention though. I was thinking of doing something a little more symmetrical because I see what you mean by it gets dull. I am already starting to notice this.

Do you have any color scheme suggestions / general theme suggestion for my next signature. I'll try to make another in a couple of days, I like getting practice in.

And if anyone here has any experience with paint.net please post here or PM me, I would love to add someone to msn that I could talk to about GFX and certain effects and methods.

I also may look into getting a hold of CS5, we'll see though.

Your text effects need some work colours are pretty much default for photoshop, in my opinion I would have used a different font for the email, also the Runescape character looks pretty choppy (Although that is runescape graphics so you can't really help that although some blur could help that not too strong but enough to clear some of it up). Colour scheme is pretty decent although as I said above the glow is the flaw, also I wouldn't have gone that dark with the gradient at the bottom of the text "Scottayy".

Other then that it's okay keep trying with your colours and such and you'll improve practice makes perfect.
