West Vs. East

I'm wondering what everyones opinion is on the views of the West Coast Vs. East Coast (North America). Please don't choose one just because you live on it >.<

In my opinion, the West Coast is better for multiple reasons. I feel that the economy is better on the West Coast, as I see hudreds of houses for sale for dirt cheap everytime I'm down East. Also, it seems the people from the West are nicer, I tend to see a lot of rude people every time I visit my grandparents in NY/NJ. Also is it just me, or are the beaches in California and Vancouver island waaaay better then anywhere on the East? (Other the Florida ) The only thing I like more about the East Coast is there sports teams usually own, at least in hockey and basketball

What are your opinions?

 

I'm not American. (Yet), So I would say East coast. Simply because, I love Florida. <3

West for California and Washington

Don't know where you are, but houses in my area are quite expensive compared to others.

I like the West since it's a lot more "fresh" and innovative (Silicon Valley), better weather too.

 

Well, I'm personally from NY and hate it here. Everything you said about the east is what I see every day. Can't wait to move west.

eastcoast has more talented people :O

 

They are both good. West coast has California, Las Vagas, Portland and east coast has Atlanta, New York, Florida.

 

I dig the east, we've got the "Southern States"(GA, Alabama, LA Etc.).

You find mean people all over, it's not like they're bread in the East only.

 

I prefer the West, mainly because of California. The diversity, food, acceptance, and weather make it the ideal place to live for me.

 

Never been to the east coast but based on Internet pictures from the east, I like California beaches better than Florida beaches. Plus, I heard the humidity on the east coast is just terrible, and I hate humidity.

True, but I was just thinking more the west side of the United States, not just the coast. As far as the coast and beaches go, the west has California and the east has Florida.

West, simply because California looks fucking amazing.

 

I've wanted to live in Los Angeles since I was about 3, West Coast all day.

Though I must say, Miami was pretty good. Didn't think that much of NYC though, just a load of people and tall buildings.

I've been to the west coast. I like it there, but I don't want to give a subjective opinion.

 

WESTSIDE! I love the west, california gurls! Malibu beaches! haha but then again the eastside is great for taking a vacation to M I A!

East coast. Because I live in NY mainly. I would've said West Coast for Cali and cheap weed, but Florida is just as cheap

 

Florida beaches > Californian beaches

That being said I prefer the people and atmosphere accompanied with the West Coast. It's more liberal, fresh, and just seems like a fun place to live.

Whoever said the economy on the west is better is mistaken though, California is bankrupt and so are many of the surrounding states. House prices are also way to high.

The only city on the east coast that I feel is similar to the West's would be Miami.

I'm Floridian hope its not to subjective.
