i dont really have a favourite book cause they were all written by 1 guy and that person is matthew reilly

I have far too many to list.

I grew up being a huge fan of Orson Scott Card, particularly his "Ender's game" series. I have always really liked Stephen King's work and lately I have been reading a ton of his older books that I have never read before. One of my favourite books of all time is "A Million Little Pieces" by James Frey - a memoir about his addictions to alcohol & crack cocaine, and the time he spent in a rehabilitation center. The book is so raw and powerful, and the style of writing is extremely unique and not something I have seen before. I have read all of James Frey's books and love them, and am eagerly awaiting another novel from him. Another similar book called "Tweak" written by Nic Sheff, about growing up hooked on methamphetamine and heroin, is one of my favourite drug memoirs. There is also a twin book called "Beautiful Boy", written about the exact same kid's addiction, yet from the perspective of his Dad, who had to watch his child suffer through his addiction for many years before getting clean.

I am looking around my computer desk at all the books I have that are just sitting here, and there is just way too many to list. I could write all day here if I had to so I will just leave it with the few I listed up above. Those are just a few of my favourites that I could think of off the top of my head, and in no particular order at all.

 

Catch22 is my all time favorite

 

I absolutely love 'About a Boy' by Nick Hornby. It's a great book, I've read it so many times.

 

The bartimeaus trilogy by john stroud

 

Ken Follett is a favorite of mine also.

Garth Nix's Abhorsen Trilogy remains my favorite. Next comes Harry Potter. I would say the Inheritance Cycle, but Inheritance was SHIT. Only cool part was SPOILER the king's death.

Imo his death was lame, it seemed like it was too easy for Eragon.

 

I'm into Star Wars books at the moment, some of them are actually pretty good.

 

tuck everlasting was the only book i've prob enjoyed/last read, but that was in fifth grade. so its been a few years.

 

Hunger games are really good. Don't have one fav.
