How big is your music library?

Well, mines nothing compared to some people I know..



Although I do have more stored in my Music folder in my hard drive. How big is your music library?

 

This is on my laptop, which is mostly used for work.

My desktop has over 10,000 songs, about 1,000 loaded on iTunes, the rest in a folder on the hard drive.

My Music Library is tiny. I barely have any song because i cbf to download any.I mostly listen to podcasts on my Ipod.

 

Don't have much as most people think.

I got at least 100 music videos though.
I bet I could beat others with my play count total

 

With my dad's and my sisters added (we share a computer), there's a total of about 6,000 songs (most of them being mine).

 

My general playlist is 56GB (60 151 894 914 bytes), lenght 1wk 1d 12:27:52.985. However, around 150 albums are ridiculously large lossless .tta's, so they're what takes the most space (around 47gb). I do also have some obscure albums here and there but I can't be bothered to find them so I can figure out the total amount of music.

 

I upscale them all the AAC so quality sounds better on some of them. I get all my song's off You-Tube.

 

I'm sitting at around 10k songs on my external hard drive and another few grand on my laptop

 

Lost about 7k a year ago when I had a major tech hiccup



Steadily rebuilding, its hard to find some of the stuff I used to have

If anyone has a spreadsheet of the older Hip-Hop, R&B, and Rap and some of the classics then please post away.
I lost a lot in a desktop overheating xD and majority of my songs are Russian

About 10-15 GBs of songs. It might be a little bit missleading though, because I only have the best quality mp3 or flac files, which are often more than 10 MB/song.

I have slightly more but the song names are all messed up so I have them in a separate folder.

 

Did I misunderstand or are you seriously converting from one lossy codec to another?

 

24.7gig/3700songs.
Lost about 15gig when my old PC died(godknows how many songs), and deleted another 5gigs of music I didn't listen to.

 

You'd be surprised, quality sounds better on many of them after I upscale them.

 

Across several languages and genre's, I have approximately 14,492 songs and still rising - including remixes and edit's. I used to be a DJ, so the variety helps.

 

+ few hundred MB that I haven't moved to that folder yet.

 

My music library is around 200mb or so.

 

My library just grew by 1,200 songs thanks to my DJing friend xD
So I just added another few gig's to my total xD
Have to upload them from the hard drive right now.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to what I have in my iTunes library, lol. I would probably have like 1250+ if I didn't delete a lot of stuff I don't listen to.
