Duel arena tax update, yay or neigh?

I find the tax itself is a good update for the arena but the new interface for winnings and what not is terrible. It dosen't feel as good to see the raw number than the goodies as icons.

 

this is a non problem. Who gives a a fuck about an interface, changes nothing means nothing

 

Obviously it doesn't changer anything as its an UI. But what I am saying is it feels more rewarding actually seeing the win as a stack instead of a number.

 

Didn't change much tbh. Gamblers are still gambling.

 

Not that big of a deal tbh. If you want a 50/50 stake with 100% pay out, you can do so on other platforms.

 

Duel arena looks very empty compared to before update. Typical Jagex update causing everyone to quit.

Meh the tax ruins max main staking so from a perspective of a player who likes gambling im kind of upset..... on other end odds staking is cleaned out which is great for combat RWT

half of the people gone are xing bots so i dont know if this statement is to valid

 

personally if 1% is deterring you from staking probably shouldnt be gambling at all. 1% is about the most even odds youll get in any form of gambling unless its a skill game u have an edge in

As a huge staker myself, in terms of keeping the game longevity and economy in better standing its a win. However if you are doing consecutive stakes of the same amount of GP it does get a bit annoying to see that you go down even if you are "even"

 

Aye, there's a reason for everything. Jagex hates gamblers. Always have been. What's your thought about staking? think it's going too the "far corner of the dark runescape" like dicing.

 

I'm quite surprised they kept staking after removing dicing to be honest. However I wouldn't think it's as dark as dicing. Especially now with all the underground dicing clan chats, discords, websites, etc.

 

Love the tax update(as im personally not a staker lul) as it definitely helps decrease the amount of gp in-game.

 

I think the biggest issue they had with it were how the hosts were the ones in absolute control over the situation but also made a cut of each gamble without risking anything of their own, giving them the ability to acquire mass amounts of gold.
