I'm stepping into the industry as a PA, very curious how hard it is to make it as an AD and being unionized in the DGA.

I worked in catering (3+ years) as a banquet captain. Wanted to finish my Bachelor's for MIS, but now seriously contemplating the industry.. I know 3 very different paths in life, but I figured the 2 years I need left for my bachelor's I can put just work as a PA and become part of the DGA. It requires 600 days which is roughly the same time as a bachelor's, except I'm being paid the whole time.

Any thoughts from people within the industry?

I worked in the film industry as a security guard.

Lmao, it was nice to stand around and do nothing and be paid high and fed for 12 hours
