runescape is now full of trolls and arrogant idiots. especially at clanwars... im a 45 def turm zerk and whenever i go to clan wars i get attacked by 130s+. then when i actually fight them, they complain when i spec leech or ss. its pathetic

 

This im afraid is 2011 and not 2005 or 2006 .. its been over 5 years since the game has been flooded by this kind of behavior, why are you acting surprised ?

let me give you a small description of what runescape has come to...

when we were young. Music was actually good
present days. all you hear is justin gayber and miley and shit like that

when we were young. runescape was still at its peak meaning loads of us were happy to play and we werent too fussed about helping other people and also not many people were no lifers or depended on runescape items to be cool and new content was actually awesome. nowadays updates are pretty much shit most of the time...

nowadays all you get playing runescape is a bunch of 10-12 year olds which are spoilt brats and get what ever the fuck they want. this means that they have a shit character and hungry dogs are more sociable then they are.

Trolls were funny when there was little of them. Now its common to find a huge percentage of the runescape community to be 10-12 year old fail trolls and wbm's. The Runescape community has gone to shit with people trying to imitate 4chan or people that are brainwashed by a virtual crown.

 

It's bullshit dude.. There's this 131 at castle wars the other day and he kept talking shit to everyone calling them idiots and saying he's gonna go to their house and shit.. He's obviously like 12 or something because of how he was talking, but he kept calling everyone else kid. During the games, he would go outside the safe area of his base and attack all the cades his teammates were putting up. Just stupid people like that need to be able to be reported and throat fucked by Mike Tyson.

 

I normally just have my public chat off and friends on friends. Problem solved. Much more peaceful when you do.

 

I sense a HUGE amount of bias here.

 

The population of the game began to go downhill as soon as your combat level began to appear next to your name outside of the wilderness.

When they got rid of 3-hit style pking with the introduction of RS2, the wilderness quickly became a shit place to be. If any of you were around back then, you will remember how great it was attacking someone with R2H and them not being able to move even a step before 3 rounds of combat.

Someone might think, "Well if you love RSC so much go play it". I almost didn't make the switch. But after the first day, I noticed how empty RSC was, and it just isn't satisfying like that.

When Free Trade was taken away, a new era of NH little bastards running around RS/BH/PvP began.

When Free Trade came back, all those little bastards stayed and all the little bastards that quit RS because of Free Trade/Wild being taken out also came back.

That added with the stupid little kids that troll 4chan playing RS, and you get what is a large chunk of our RS community today.

Thank you lol! The lead up to Free Trade going away had a lot of annoying people in wild/around RS in general as well.

I would bet money that there are a fair few people on this site are the type I find annoying, tbh. The types that would walk up to me and say "No life" if I was on my 135 or 138. The types that would PJ, then complain if I didn't stick around to fight even though I just looted someone/people that I killed.

Now that I think of it, most people that play RS but weren't around long enough to spend a substantial time on RSC before RS2 came out are morons in the way they think about things, there attitude towards other people and the game in general.

Jagex should stop trying to imitate other MMORPGs by making their PvP more complex and just remember the simple java browser game that everyone loved! The community has always had bad people, but the bad people have "evolved"... if you've watched Youtube for a long time like me you would see how trolls have evolved over the last few years.

 

There were annoying trolls in 2004 and now. Stop the QQ, it will never change.

There were trolls then and there are trolls now. As for wild it is exactly same as in the old days, only difference is the new weapons.
