I pirated this movie a couple days ago and i could see why so many people hacked Sony over this! This is the dumbest movie i have ever seen!

What are your guys's views on this movie? Is it dumb or funny or just straight up stupider than a bag of rocks?

 

It's a movie with Seth Rogen and James Franco. I have no idea why North Korea and the Sony hackers were so butt hurt over this movie.

It was a fun movie. Had a lot of laughs. People aren't supposed to take this movie seriously hahaha. But James Franco definitely made the movie much better. Haven't been a fan of the past few Rogen movies though.

Franco > Rogen.

The movie was a bit weird.. that korean leader looks nothing like the real leader in korea and also.. it didn't make me laugh at all once.

 

Eh just a random hollywood American movie- designed to get people to fuss about it.

I don't think it's meant to be seen as a serious movie. It was hilarious though, I'll admit that.

 

Was better than I expected it to be. I would have torrented it but it showed up on netflix pretty quickly o:

 

Pretty funny, if you take any movie with Seth Rogen in it, I feel bad for you.

 

The movie wasn't that bad it could of have been worse.
They should have just showed it in theaters. Honestly I would give it a 5/10.

 

But didn't Sony take it down before they released it to public?

Had a few laughs, it wasn't too bad.

 

I loved the movie, If you plan to watch it and expect an extremely accurate drama then yea you'll probably be disappointed.

A lot of funny parts but it kind of fell apart humor wise close to the end. The part with Eminem is hilarious.

This would likely be classified as a "stoner movie" because of Franco and Rogen being the main characters. Because of this people tend to be more critical towards it while others fall instantly in love.

Like others said, dumbest movie ever but it made me laugh a few times. wouldn't recommend though.

 

I didn't mind the movie, was funny but not as funny as I expected it to be, but still alright seen better movies with Seth in them though.

 

In my opinion, the movie was good. I thought it was very funny and I love Seth Rogan and James Franco. Ever since their movie "Pineapple Express", I fell in love with that combo. I just really love their comedy style

 

I pretty much think the opposite of this post. I thought it was a horrible movie. The only part I enjoyed was Seth Rogen's laugh. I thought Randall Park did a good job being a comedian version of Kim Jong Un in some parts, but in others it was kind of stupid. I think the whole movie could be summed up in a SNL skit or two. Not worth all the controversy. James Franco is a good actor and is funny sometimes like in Pineapple Express, but pretty much plays the same role in every movie as well as Seth Rogen. I think Seth Rogen is a great dude and his laugh is fucking hilarious and makes me laugh with him regardless if it's funny, but he as well as James Franco play the SAME FUCKING PERSON every comedy movie. Franco should stick to movies like 127 Hours and Rogen should do more stand-up. Just my opinion, my best friend IRL would tell you it's his favorite movie, so don't feel the need to let your blood pressure rise if you disagree with me.
