So I have been playing guitar for about 12 years now and I see kids saying "oh I am god at guitar hero" well they need to pick up a fucking real guitar I hope this inspires some of you to take up the guitar it = godliness, if you have any questions about anything to do with this post here other than that.

Tremelo picking hurts your arms because from natural instinct when you are trying to go fast you are tensing up. Relax and the speed will come is pretty much the secret, although you can have speed and be tense but it really limits you unless you can completely relax.


Good playing Deadzone, I hate children of bodom but I loved the few dime/bluesy shred licks you played. Once you start bending with the correct fingers you are gonna do real well man as you already have a nice relaxed fast fingering style. I like your guitar too, I think jackson makes some great guitars for the money you pay.

 

Yeah, not really a metal fan. but, i'm considering taking bass guitar because i like it and it seems like a real 'relax' instrument. any tips on the guitar i should get? (first guitar, not a very good extremely expensive super ultra good one )

 

Damn, you're awesome! If your band makes songs, you should post some videos of them. Also, it's hard as hell to play guitar and vocals at the same time, so you have a lot of talent.

uhh not too fond of bass guitar but I have a schecter diamond and it's fine when I play it.

what one? I have several and I think I used 3 in the video's not really sure I'd have to watch again but i'll just name all the guitars I own

Hows Alexi's ESP? I was thinking of buying it, but seeing how it's only got one EMG pickup that's passive, I'm really not considering it now.

I'm thinking of buying the Dan Jacobs signature. Not because it's his signature, but because it's got the EMG's for perfect metal tone plus the original Floyd Rose, only problem I see is there's only 22 frets.

 

ehh Idk I wouldn't get a 22 fretter unless your a beginer which you seem like your not, If I was you I would just get a nice customizable one preferably a jackson and then just get the custom gear you want.
