Details: In 2014 two users scammed me for large amounts. They're known as Staking and Ari. Both of these users have not only scammed me but several others as well. I believe Bogla, Arcus and r2p have all been scammed by Staking alone. Recently a user known as IHQ has been linked and rumored to be Staking/Nick. I compiled the Paypal payments and posted them on sythe. I was warning the community and supplying information to any of his future scam victims. I dont see how I am being punished for helping the community. Both of these users are mass vaders and scammers. They attack the community and feed on people's lack of information. I was trying to help the community. I was also contacted Friday and told that it wasnt allowed. I believe Video removed the thread and warned me. I let it go and never released or posted anything else. Everything else that Gun has posted is here say and has zero proof. I've personally had him muted on team speak for approximately a month. Hell I barely even use team speak anymore. I would like Staff to take into consideration that I was only posting Information about Known scammers. I've never maliciously posted anyone else's information. Please take into account that sythe has periodically released Mass Scammers Info before.

People posted information about trent so they could collectively report him. Information was posted in the thread and later used in a police report. None of the users were banned. I've also seen other threads were people posted I.P's, IRL Names and Address's of known scammers.

 

You're welcome to have your suspicious about a user, however any sort of proof that you have should only ever be posted in the Report a Scammer section and nowhere else. If it is then decided that there is not enough proof, then any the mentioning of it in places that may inhibit his business is considered accusing of scamming without proof which is obviously a punishable offence.

Whether this deserves a ban for an entire month, I'm not so sure.

If we are banning people for reporting users IRL info not in Ras section. Then get ready for a massive reporting session. I cant tell you how many people have created threads or released users info in spam forum for the greater good of sythe. Ooga had his entire life story dropped in spam forum. Including his I.P. First and Last name and Mug shot. From what I can see no one's been banned for this. There's a list of well known Users who havent been reported for doing the same thing I have. It seems this is a case by case basis and it depends on who's being leaked. Apparently Nick hasnt scammed enough users to garnish this attention. Maybe we should let him ride off with another 5 grand? Will that get enough people's attention? What's the standard on this Im really curious? Hell what what about linking Sigex arrest video in spam forum? Should we report those users as well?

 

In my opinion, if Hattez can come up with a single, concrete piece of evidence linking the user whose information Hattez posted to a scam, there would be no grounds for a ban.

As of now, everything that I've seen from either side is "wahhh, he said she said"

Evidence is all that I, and the rest of staff, will care about.

You cannot argue one fact, and that's the posting of someone's personal information on Sythe. As of now, that's the only actual fact we have.

Both parties are playing the victim, and while I'm not too worried about getting to the bottom of it (typically best for everyone to leave them all banned,) if it comes down to it we can get dirty and find ALL of the information.
More often than not, when digging into cases like this we, as a staff team, can typically come up with enough to keep all parties off of the site altogether.

Be careful pointing fingers when you've got skeletons in your own closet...or something like that.

I was asleep when this happened, also not being too familiar with the case and matter at hand. However, regardless of anything and everything else, the simple fact is that posting personal information, be it of scammers/members/ex-members, is against the rules, unless said user has no qualms with it. This doesn't mean that we discourage people posting confirmed scammers paypals/skypes and what not in the correct stickies. However, address', IP's, and more personal relevant information is something we don't condone - unless you're a victim of an SVU scammer/have sought Richard/Matthews approval for said information.

Gun clearly cares about said information being posted. Whether he actually cares, or whether he's simply using it to have you banned, it's his prerogative, and he has the right to - based on said rules.

This guy may be a scammer and what not, but still, rules are rules. Ultimately, it seems you two have been at each other for a while, so I'm not too sure if a 1 month ban is justified. I'd rather see you unbanned sooner.

I'm not banned for releasing Gun's info. I kindly ask that you take a look at my actual ban reason before posting. I'm banned for releasing the paypal payment made by Nick/Staking. Gun has nothing to do with my ban other then reporting me. His accusations have zero proof and are a complete lie. I've also proven that users have posted mass scammer's information in the past outside of the Ras section. It's clearly apparent you have put zero effort into this at all.

 

I will be locking this thread until further notice.

Hattez, staff will be reviewing this dispute decision in private. There are some matters to which staff only have access, and it would be best if everything was kept in private.

If anyone has additional evidence, please Skype/PM myself, and/or PM anyone on the staff team.
