What is a "Recovery Test"?

I recently brought a pure and unfortunately it got recovered and the seller gave me false previous information so I have no chance of getting the account back.

I now need another account but obviously I don't want to be scammed again. I've heard people asking for recovery tests to be done when making a trade could somebody please inform me of what this is and how it is carried out?

 

Basically, if your buying his account you will tell him that your going to test out the recovery questions.

You put in all the recovery questions and attempt to recover the account and wait to see if you can successfully recover the account or not. This usually takes from a hour to a couple of hours.

If everything is well, and you were able to recover the account. Then you know he gave you the correct recovery questions, and you can continue with buying the account.

If the recovery is denied. Then they didn't give you all the recovery question information by mistake, or on purpose. You can eaither ask them to give you more account information and retry until the recovery gets accepted. Or just don't trade with him.


IMO, you should just buy a account from trusted members if you are planning on paying over 50+ USD.

 

You gotta make sure that 'You' or the 'MM' is recovering the account not the owner.

 

To be honest mate the recovery test won't mean your not going to get the account recovered, if the person selling the account is a scammer they will always be able to recover the account because of their i.p and having origional info which they just won't give you, some people will but there not the people who plan on scamming, you can recover an account with lesser info but once someone recovers it with greater info that lesser info won't work anymore :embar:
