Fastest way to get 99 cooking?

What's the fastest way to get 99 cooking without a huge loss? I can cope with losing 5-10M..

 

Sharks and rocktails are you best bet. Make sure you use cooking gauntlets and change from sharks to rocktails as soon as you stop burning them and that's level 94 I believe, you can check that on rs wiki.

 

Lobs to 94 then (providing you have cooking gauntlets) rocktails to 99, will make a slight profit on lobs and lose 4-5m on the rocktails from 94-99.

They give the best exp per hour I believe, if not one of the best. You could try switching to sharks inbetween lobs -> rocktails, but I would just stay with lobsters to 94, then rocktails like Humpo said.

 

How much on average p/hr is lobsters?

 

130k xp/ph on lobsters and 240-50k xp/ph on rocktails. I finished my 99 cook a couple days ago. Once you hit 94 you need about 23k rocktails to 99 takes about 20-22 hours for 99 once you hit rocktails.

 

So sharks are a waste of time?

Ok, is cooking faster than fletch? Swear feltching isn't as fast as what people say it is.

 

Depends on your level? Took me about 7-10 days 10 hours a day from 64.

 

Isn't making wine faster?



Meh, didn't read the cost limitations. Might be useful for the last few levels though.

 

If you want the quickest way then wines.. You make 500k-700k xp per hour but it's a major loss for 20m+

Other then that do lobs till 86, Swordfish till 95, then rocktails till 99. That's if your using Cooking Gauntlets.

 

Swordfish are a massive Loss, he doesnt want to lise too much, the loss on rocktails will be likely just about too much.

 

What for every 700k odd on wines is 20M loss :O?

 

Swordfish is only a 1.5m loss that's it lol.. From 86-95

95-99 on rocktails is around 2.5m loss

Lobsters 68-99 is a 520k profit.

 

35-99 on wines is a 65m loss. but can get 99 in like 3 days.
