Fastest way to 94 mage?

Splash whenever you aren'y playing runescape my friend. It may be a long jounery, especially if you are only splashing at night, but it is definitely worth it.

You could barrage the monkey skeletons, it's fast ass exp. You can also barrage the creatures in the abbyss. Yes it'll be expensive, but it's very fast exp.

Barraging at ape atoll is really fast exp 150k-250k exp/hr I think and its very afkable, thing is that it costs a decent amount of cash.

Fastest would be ape atoll although you'd be silly to use barrage as it would cost an absolute bomb. However stun alching too maybe?

Think about it this way.

a)Say you stun alched for 2-3 hours a day, and splashed for 6 hours? Well that's 430k-630k xp.

b)Say you stun alched for 2-3 hours a day, and splashed for 12 hours? Well that's 516k-710k xp.

Say you did (a) for 5 days, that's 3.1m exp.

Say you did (b) for 5 days, that's 3.5m exp.

The amount of xp needed for 90-94 is 2.6. This means doing either option for 4-5 days will accomplish this goal.

Is it worth sacrificing time and money for a method that's slower?

That's actually a really good way of looking at it.
