awkward moment ?

my friend got offered 25m to stand in wildy and get killed...

The thing is.. that he was only wearing sara sword.. now apparently its gone..

Anyone know why this happened? He wasnt in that wildy world or have a skull.

Can you explain in more detail of what your friend was supposed to do? Or was he in the gamer's grotto red portal? (Where you lose ALL of your stuff)

 

I think some more detail would help gain understanding of how it could have happened...

Well this is what he told me.

He gets offered 25M to be in a video where someone kills him while he holds his SS.
They go to Edgeville, Go pull a lever which apparently takes them to L51 wildy.
The guy kills him, he loses everything.

Thats pretty much it, thats all hes telling me..

the dude probably dropped 4 noted dbaxe and he picked em up.... thats one of the oldest tricks in the book

 

Can you elaborate more on how that happens? Kinda new to rs.. Dont know about all these BS updates.

 

One if the olds lures is enticing someone to pick up an item which alchs for more but is worth far less.
In turn you pick up an item seemingly worth more to the game and you keep it. Where in reality the item you drop while it's worth less to the game, it actually is worth a lot more market price.
Eg. Party hats alch value of 1gp, but actually being worth near 1b.

But the way you described it seems really weird and doesn't add up unless theres some ridiculous glitch.

 

It isn't an update. Its always been like this. You can only keep 3 items on death. And a Dragon Battleaxe is worth more than an SS. So when he drop 4 noted, they outweigh anything in his inventory.

 

Your friend probably felt embarrassed, that's why he didn't tell you the full story.

 

So if the attacker was to drop 4 dragon b axes on the floor and kills my friend he would still get his ss ?

Cause he didnt trade him anything..

 

Quite unfortunate, but he got lured.

 

Turns out he did get traded stuff. 4 drag skirts. -.-
