fastest way 69-76 mining?

I never really mine tbh havent in years and i want 76 for ROTM quest, just curious of the fastest way to level.
bonus xp weekend coming soon dont want to do it then would rather dungeoneer, any suggestions?


please i dont want to be dropping invents of stuff, something close to a bank or deposit will be ideal.

 

The fastest way is power mining iron really, until you can do LRC which is more than 76 I do believe.

 

I wouldn't recommend iron, it's 30-50k exp per hour (depending where you are/how effectively you train), I'd recommend mining granite at the quarry (south of bandit camp) where under ideal conditions you can get 50-60k+ exp an hour.

On a side note, you won't have access to mining coal or gold at living rock caverns until you hit 77 (coal) and 80 (gold) mining which is by far the easiest and best exp for mining in the game.

 

Been f2p so long that I forgot about granite.

 

Use Robotz In Disguise power miner. It is free, and works like a charm. I reccomend the mining pit which is northeast out of ardagroune. It is usually totally deserted and the bot gets pretty good exp. Plus you dont have to do shit haha

 

mine iron, if you got some time bank em, good cash also

 

If you have ardy cape you tele to the monastery mine iron use ring of kinship to bank and repeat gets around 30 - 40k per hour and makes money.

Depending on how many times you can assist people, you could do this:

1. Find someone who is mining for money, not xp
2. Assist them, so they can mine quicker, getting more money
3. When assisting, you get the xp, not them
4. Repeat this on as many people as possible

 

Iron is both fast and good xp. Drop them for faster xp, bank them for a few cash.

 

Powermining Granite if you're member.

 

IMO granite is not much better then iron, and not worth the extra effort. just power mine iron, you will have your req in no time

 

once you get high , go to mining gold ores

 

1. No one would give you their xp
2. You can't assist mining.
3. It'd only be 30k/day anyways.

Iron using SC pickaxes and Decorated mining urns would probally be the fastest.

 

Mining granite is the way to go, but you'll usually only average about 30k xp an hour. That being said, you should spend a few hours at stealing creations and get some clay picks. Those push it to 45-50k an hour. By the time your done you'll have made up for taking the time to get the picks and more. I think I used around 5 picks myself going from near 69 to 76 for questing. So spend 2 hours getting 6 picks and then find a simple powerminer to use em. Mining urns might help a little bit but you'll be emptying your inventory way more often because of lack of space.

 

Mine granite using SC picks should get u 100k+ xp an hour

 

I just watched that whole video for some reason, and I learned so much about mining that I didn't know

I used to love mining back in 2005 and before, but since my return to RS I've had no interest in it whatsoever, and have only mined granite for quest requirements, outside of regular mining pits that I was familiar with. I had NO clue there were so many things you could do to speed up your experience, bank your ores, and so many new spots to mine.
