kMiner is slow?

Ok so yesterday I tried out the kEssence miner to see how the software is, and runescape loads pretty slow and is quite choppy. Is it meant to be like this or is there something wrong? I have a powerful PC, no doubt about that, pretty top of the line stuff, I'm just wondering why it's so choppy!

 

Flashing black screen I am assuming?

You aren't in safe mode. The bots do not work with directx/opengl.

Hold the 'S' key while the game is loading to enter safe made.

On top of that client painting times may be tunred down.

Also run in signed mode.

If none of thoes resolves it:
This will increase cpu load.
Go to settings > Tools > Global Settings. Adjust sliders untill desired drwing speed is reached. (Slide to the left for quicker stuff)
