Post here or add me on skype if you'd like to be a part of the group chat. We will discuss possible items, buy limits, risks, etc.

I think there are a lot of people on Sythe with enough capital to make a difference in the market.

I don't think you should do this. Whoever dumps last will likely lose some of their investment and whoever dumps first will make the most profit.

The point of merch clans was for the owners to make profit off the retards who wanted to get rich fast. Instead of dumping and crashing the price the owners dumped to retards who had really high buy prices in the GE and the retards took the loss for the owners when the item crashed. The flipping/investment sections were just made to make them seem legit.

This could end badly to the last people that will sell off.

To avoid dumping early, only high post count, and well respected users.

If we can drive the price up enough and all slowly sell in unison, we can let is slowly decline as we all make a profit over time.

You realize it doesn't matter how you dump right? More supply will mean lower prices. Someone will always get fucked or if you do do it in unison the profit will not be worth the hassle of setting it up. If this does go through I'd be really curious to see a progress thread after the whole merch is over.

The problem with pump and dump is that it creates a fake demand for the item. And because of that, the people involved are the people who invest into the pot. You can then only make money from that pot, so if everyone in the group were to profit you would have to encourage others to buy said item. As if you didn't then most people in the group are due a loss, which they're giving their loss to the profits of the rest of the group.

Either way, this cannot be profitable without scamming people.
