Is FireMaking hard to get 99 in?

I know getting 99 in anything would be hard, but it is really HARD? Is it that tedious to do?

I'm working on a basic skiller, and want to get a skill cape one day. I'm figuring FM because lots of people do it, and you get 90 XP per log (Which is faster than a few skills, like Mining and WC).

So, is it a worthwhile skill to 99?

 

fletching is EXTREMELEY easy to do get 99 of it

 

It's easy but a worthless skill, trust me, I know.

 

I understand it's worthless, and just wanted to know if it were easy.

What would be easier?

Firemaking in Draynor to 99?

or

Powerfishing in Shilo Village (Salmon/Trout)?

 

firemaking and who cares if fletch is a waste almost free skill cape

Yeah, dudes. Thanks. i'll try for 99 FM then, maybe one day, Fishing. Not soon, but in a year... who knows. Maybe I'll be rich with a Fire Making cape. But right now, I'm pre-occupied with getting 40 atk (For rune pic/axe, and it's really annoying without strength levels. I keep hitting 1's, and am only level 24, and it's been 2 days now), as well as mining (45 mining).

Be easy on me. I started this skiller 5 days ago. 30 wc, 45 mining, and thats about it.

 

Firemaking is boring stuff, but easy... You won't be rich with a fm cape especially since you can't make money off of it

 

Yeah, but you don't need to spend loads of cash on it either

 

Might as well make it worth it if you are going to get 99 in a skill. FM is pointless -.-

 

99 firemaking is easy to get just buy the logs burn up magic logs

 

Buy willows at GE for 18 ea
And burn em

You don't need 40 attk to use a rune axe, just don't equip it...

Oh and FM is pretty easy, but you're burning money. Fletching is much easier, but like the guy said above, useless.

 

fletch you can make money off of and its ez firemaking you cant boring but easy...

 

Well, I already have 34 Attack. might as well get to 40.

I'll have 21 combat, but who gives a damn?

If your buying the logs its easy

If your WCing them not so easy but,

you get a high WC level too.

 

Consider hunter, It's great cash when you start doing chins. Also I <3 the cape.

 

Yes, its extremely tedious. It will drive you mad, lots of clicking.

I would say fishing is easier, more fun, and more productive. Takes more time though.

 

I got to 89 fishing on my main, before it was banned. It was also pretty boring. I just powerfished in Shilo.

I'd think Firemaking would be quicker.

 

Actually to get from 5-70 is 2m only cutting the logs into the highest bows not stringing them...

Although i do have a main with 85 fletching...ITS A CINCH FROM 70-99
