New Films Anyone?

Just wondering, If you could have any book made into a film, and any film remade, which would it be?

I'd like to see Dune remade, the original film was a disappointment, nothing at all like the book.
The book I'd like to see made into a film is Tunnel In The Sky by Robert A Heinlien, read it a few times and thought it was good.

 

Hmmmm...gonna have to think about this. I want "Loser" or "Wringer", by Jerry Spinelli to be turned into a movie. Both of those books are amazing.

 

The Anothony Beevor books. They're actually thinking of doing a movie from some of the books!

 

they should make more movies off steven king books..

 

i want the matrix remade it'd be so much better!

 

Well, The Golden Compass is set to come out soon.. But I don't know if thats going to be as good of a book as a movie.
