help, internet is messed up.

yeah, my mozilla isn't working, gives me a "failed to connect" page instantly, even for the router site. same with swift kit (server not responding error). also happening to internet explorer, and my other online games. only things that work are safari, msn, and aim. nothing else. and i already tried reset the winsock, dns, and a few other things. im using wireless, if it means anything :/

 

Try uninstallling your anti virus software

Its worked for me and on my brothers laptop when firefox did not work but IE did. Or if you don´t want to do that try seeing if your antivirus blocked it

 

it didn't, and i tried everything so far, even opening specific ports to allow it, but it just keeps saying "failed to connect" someone told me its a virus, but i have windows defender and live one care on, and search it several times and it says its clean.

 

I would make sure that every single part of your Anti-Virus is uninstalled, especially if it is McAfee. I had this problem when I got my new computer. I deleted the Anti-Virus VIA the uninstall but it all didn't uninstall, so I had to go uninstall it all manually.
Also, check your Processes by hitting CTR+ALT+Delete and make sure no processes that are associated with your Anti-Virus are running.
