Selling on player auctions

I have been selling on player auctions for the past two months, and I must say I prefer to the 'security' they provide to my sales (I record all sales).

However, I do have a looming concern about them reversing their disbursements. I am using the money I make to pay for college fees, and I'm worried they will reverse the payment a year later or something leaving me in a debt.


Please could somebody put my mind at ease. I mean I've never heard of it happening, but they could do it if they wanted to... right? (It's a virtual transaction....)

No, Playerauctions will not attempt to reverse their payments to you.

They've had my ID, proof of address, and phone number for years. Also they've also sent me over $10,000 and I've never had any kind of issue like that.

Are you telling me that I can use the money I get from this to pay for my college tuition fees and not worry?

Do you know the reversal time limit on PayPal (so do people have to claim a reversal in a certain time period?)

 

The time limit in which you're able to reverse a payment after it's been sent varies from 75-120 days depending on the reason. You should be in the clear after 4 months.

 

Player Auctions has never reversed a payment even when they lost tens of thousands from scams (if anyone remembers the moneygram scam that occurred in the RS market). Don't worry it's on them to vet the buyers.

 

Should I be safe and not spend any of the money until 4 months then? I feel I need to be over cautious.

 

Feel safe, transactions through PlayerAuctions are very secure.

There is no reason to wait to spend the money Playerauctions has sent you after you've received it.

They simply don't reverse transactions.

 

I wouldn't worry about reversals at all. I've never heard of player auctions doing that before.

I think they have a refund system because they have a low rate of recovers apparently.

 

Don't worry man, they are a serious company and if it they did that, it would mean loss of tons of credibilty, customers, etc.

It's always risky when you purchase something or sell something that could be reversed. Hope for the best and PlayerAuctions has a pretty good system for trading.
