Phishing-huh?

So I was prowling around in the dispute forums seeing who was a scammer, spammer, etc. Then I came across an interesting thread. He was banned because he MENTIONED that he phished a Runescape account.

Now that confused me. I don't see why mentioning phishing accounts warrants a ban. I know you guys don't want a bunch of phishers on here, but frankly, a ban seems a little extreme. I believe a warning or a mute is in order, but, as said earlier, a ban just seems like too much.

Anyone clarify?

 

Yes, but there are plenty of people here that have an interest in phishing. What I don't understand is why it's a ban on THIS site, even if you don't phish members of THIS site.

 

Because Phishing in general isn't allowed, anywhere.

 

It's illegal and we don't want phishers to be a part of this forum.

 

Phishing is basically scamming, if scamming is disallowed, why allow phishing?

 

phishing is scamming, scamming is illegal. Plus if you phish somewhere else how do we know you wont here?

 

It's basically because if you're a phisher, you're a risk. Sythe doesn't want to take that risk. So all phishers will be banned.

 

Phishers should be banned on sight. I just find it extremely annoying to see my email getting filled over wow/rs emails. Thankfully I've got a spam email
