31 or 52 Prayer? Melee Pure

I know it's a lot of personal preference. But I really can't decide. I love when I find someone higher level with lower strength just because they wanted 44. But the thing is, I can rush with claws with 52 pray, and actually get loot in non-high risk worlds. I can get a fire cape. And I'll have protects for rushers/pjers. That being said, I'm still learning, but never-the-less, I've NEVER died to a pjer. I always outeat them. Probably because as soon as I get a kill, I start spamming sharks, because I wind up eating half an inventory of sharks to loot anyways.

I will be 77 with 31 pray, and 79 with 52 pray. This is with 99 str. I'm only at 89 right now. I don't know. If someone could throw some logic at me instead of personal preference, I just might have to get 52.

 

Id say go with 52 prayer because it is only 2 more cb levels and it will be worth it in the long run.

 

Why 52 honestly?
They have high-risk worlds for a reason.
Don't PK with what you dont wanna lose.
43-44 prayer (forget which is the last prot prayer) is as high as I would go.
It's all you really need, and thats only for PJers/firecape. Pures smiting is too much. Just use TBs and go to a high-risk world ^_^

 

If you're going to get 31 anyways, I say just go for 52/protection prayers.

 

I would go 52 for smite, so I don't HAVE to go to high risk worlds. And so I can claw rush in the non high risk worlds, knock off their pray right before they die for all their loot.

I think I might go ahead and do this. I see a ton of PJers. Not too many are successful without claws, but I just see me downing 500k one day to lose it to a PJer.

 

None, I would personally get 43-45.

I like pking with my scim dds, but would like to have a fire cape, knock off other's pray so they dont hit near as hard or as often, I won't die near as much, because of redemption, wont need to hold pecks for when im getting specced hardcore, and most of all, piss off the people that take runescape seriously.

I've had a shit loads of pures, including an ags pure atm. FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE DON'T STAY 31 PRAY. I'D RECOMMEND 52 BUT IF YOU WANT
STAY 43. BUT YOU NEED 43 TO PK. OTHERWISE EVERYTIME YOU LOOT YOU'LL GET RUSHED HARDCORE. Also pjers will pile ur ass
