Scammed on Player Auction (PAYPAL)

Hi,

So here is what happened, i brought an Old school Runescape account on player auctions through paypal. One week later the seller recovered the account and i immediately told player auctions.

PA told me that their was no insurance coverage on the purchased account and that they will help me recover the account (but i doubt the seller will give me the account and even if he does who knows if he just recovers again later). So i am wondering shouldn't PA refund me because i remember seeing all this buyer protection things they promised.

If in the event PA don't refund me, i was reading on here and on other sites about these Paypal disputes/charge backs you can do to get the money back but i dont know what to say because if never done anything like that before.

Can someone help me please i have no idea what to do and i payed alot for that account

 

Hey bud, they've been getting quite a bit of bad reputation as of late. I'd recommend getting in contact with their customer support. In addition, you'll want to contact their representative on Sythe:

I sold an account 2 months ago which was my main with 10 year cape and 2500+ total, all went good however they said i had a 7 day buyers protection on which i didn't so i waited the 7 days to then get told i had to wait longer as the buyer made a claim, waited an extra 6 days so i recovered it back and they refused to give me the payment unless i could prove i handed over all information, I then noticed the account had been banned but luckily they gave me the money after telling them that...

My advice would be to not use PA ever.

 

Yeah PA has terrible fees, and bad customer service. Only use them as a last resort. Just try to contact the user "playerauctions" here on sythe and contact their customer service on their website as well.
