Mining Advice

Yet again, I require some skilling advice, I have 41 mining, got it today, going for 60, should I bank the iron ores or power-mine it?

Depends if you need the money or not. If not then power mining is the way to go.

 

Power mining would be best choice, or do pure essences till like 75 and u will have alot of gp

 

Power mine it, no point banking its not worth the effort.

 

Depending on where you're mining at would you bank it. If you're someplace like varrock SE mine, there's no reason at all to bank it because it's too far away and you will lose alot of experience per hour.

Unless you NEED the money, then go to a place closer to the bank if you can and then bank it. It's only 4k per load though.

 

Powermining. It's faster.

 

The essence would work only if you were going for money, but essence gives BARELY any exp. So if you're looking for fast leveling, power mine.

 

Well, since I'm guessing you're on a F2P Account then Powermining Iron as everyone stated above would be the most effective way.
From level 40 to 60 it is 6,679 Ores, or 273,742 XP.
Now at 40 Mining I'm unsure of the XP Rate but I believe its 50k Per hour,
Now with that said its roughly going to take 6 hours of pure mining without stopping. Al Kharid is decent as well for f2p if you go on a busy world and to the northwest corner there's a great spot.

Dwarven Mine, right now I'm just selling it to the guy at the entrance, faster then dropping and like a two second run from the iron spot. Don't really need the money, gonna get that through coal.

Pure ess till 75, at 5 xp per ore, that would take a while, doesn't matter how much money it makes me

closer to 6k. you can make a pretty lot of money from iron but it cbb if ur only going to level 60

Nowhere near that much EXP. I'm getting 15k/h at the mining guild banking coal. I tried powermining for a while and was only getting about 19k/h. Also, I'm 83 (almost 84) mining.
