Next mass ban? And botting question. (READ)

I dont know about you guys, but ive been hearing rumors about a mas ban coming at the end of this month. Id assume (if its real) its going to be mostly RWT and scamming bans. But im sure there will be botting bans too. The question of the day is, How long until your safe from getting banned? I used the following scipts; AutoSorcgarden, PerfFighter, AutoSoulwars(survived the mass ban on that, i had quit SW about a month before that ban) PerfPestcontrol(quit that a few weeks before starting SW) and a fletcher, it was payed either by Perf or Rsbots.net. Cant remember, but anyway, the last bot I used was Fighter, I baby sat it a lot. I quit about a month ago. When will I know(or atleast be able to believe) that i wont be getting banned? I understand its hard to answer but your best guessed would be appreciated!

I don't think they will just right now when they got people coming back to Runescape to play again, as they might then face a slight drop in users online if they do what your suggesting, imo.

 

Where are you hearing about this mass ban? I haven't heard a thing about it.

 

There's rumours about mass bans every other week, i personally doubt there will be a mass ban, they just ban people on a daily basis, they aren't gonna let you bot for a month and then ban you, they'll ban you once they know you're botting :L?

 

where did you hear about this? and why would they wait till the end of month.

IMO they only ban bots when either it becomes a big issue (e.g bug abuse) or if you use stolen credit cards which cost them money, etc.

 

I doubt they will ban ppl, whom they just got back after update.

 

I think a mass ban is gonna happen espically with how the are charge to recover an account now.

That is absolutely not what he was asking. First of all why do you care whether or not he edited his post letting everyone know what time it was? Ovbiously he was trying to beat the trolls to the punch on his bad spelling but instead you choose to troll him about him being one step ahead in the troll game.

And yea, who cares that he could lose a months worth of work? And I don't mean 30 days of work, I mean 720 hours of work or more. You might say it doesn't matter, he botted. Regardless of that, botting takes time and time is a limited resource.

Original poster: I wouldn't worry about it. You obviously slipped under the radar with the other mass bans by quitting botting before they were implemented. This shouldnt be any different considering you haven't been botting for a month or so. I wouldn't sweat it man.

MikeAKATheBoss - Thanks for understanding what I was saying. You answered every thing. Thanks a lot! Everyone else, like i said, its just a rumor I read on a few posts, I know Jags has threatened masses in the past to get people to stop botting. Do what you want.

 

i vote you wont be banned i've survived all of the recent (last 3 years) of bans with my either 16/7 or my 24/7 bots. no bans, no rollbacks

How can they tell RWTs? i've gave my friends like 10M each and been given 50M by some friends? so i doubt they can tell little amounts unless its like 400M+ lol

 

I doubt it's true. Why? Someone could bot their ass off for a month ~ And possibly TRADE the profits to their main. Then the bots banned. They wouldn't let you bot for a month...it would be banned on a daily basis.

I haven't heard anything of a mass ban, as long as your paid and not 24/7 in popular areas you should be fine.
