F2p Ironman

Does anybody have any experience? Playing on my main gets pretty damn boring so I'm wondering if this'll be fun.

 

I tried it for a time, it's good for about a week and then it just becomes horrible haha

 

I'm sure it'll seem fun in the beginning, but picture yourself 2 months into it grinding for the most simplistic things you never thought you would end up grinding for. I never sounded appealing to me, so I never pursued it.

 

Yeah, I made the account. Maybe I'll do it when I'm high for the nostalgia effect but that's about it.

Ive got a f2p hcim.

I gave up at getting th beads for imp catcher lol.

 

There is a few guides on Youtube on F2P Ironman...it's incredibly tough though! G'luck!

 

I started one but quickly got p2p as bots are everywhere in f2p. I got 50 FM and now camping Wintertodt for 99 FM. Managed to get a beaver in under 500 willows as well which apparently is pretty rare.

 

No no no no! Do NOT go, that place is rigged af man. ( From all my experience lol )

 

If your into F2P Iron Men then you'll love P2P Iron Men. I'm camping PC right now but all the questing and supply gathering is so fun as P2P, but F2P has too many bots which you will find out pretty quickly.

 

I could see this getting boring quite quickly.

Yeah man, that's why P2P iron men rule. Doing it F2P seems like a drag.

 

I have a F2P Ultimate ironman. I can say that so far I have really enjoyed it and that it can be a really nice break from the main. I haven't made massive amounts of progress, I can log in to the F2P 500 skill total worlds but my account is nothing crazy. At first when you begin the account, resources can be crowded with bots however it is usually quite easy to beat the bots to the materials. You will level up much slower as a F2P ironman but I personally liked this change in pace. Also, it makes you think differently about the game (as does a P2P ironman) as you have to come up with your own ways of getting items in game. I recommend trying ironman as a little side project and would love to hear how you progress if you do so

 

I feel you on being bored of your main, I get like that all the time. I actually made a HCIM skiller in which I died at Wintertodt so the account became and ironman BUT the account is 90 fm.

 

It is worth a try, if you like trying to be self sufficient and like the feeling of personal accomplishment you get when doing everything from scratch then ya you might like it.
