Extra Random Events - for those who enjoy them

Now i know most people allready know this and it is not really a guide, but it's something i do whenever i train on rock crabs for example and random events are useful because i get gems, half keys , genie lamps and books of knowledge and whatever else it is random events give.

Simply bring something with you while you train, i bring a chisel and a emerald or any other uncut gem you are able to cut for example , and after 15-20 minutes of training, if you have not got a random event, just use your chisel on the gem , and a random event will just pop up. The best thing i find about this is , it does not use you gem , so you can do it again in another 20 minutes of no randoms and get yourself another random event.

I've always noticed that randoms appear right before I'm about to chop down a willow, but I didn't know wbout the gem/chisel thing. Might have to try this out.

 

Yep, its like when u train for a long time then bury a bone , a random will appear, its anything that changes up what you were previously doing

 

the trick is: just do something you havent done in a while.
so, example if you have been training on rock crabs for like 20 mins, you do something within a skill(fletch, cut, etc), you get a random...

also works if your skilling, like fletching yew longs, you can teleport once, and most likely get a random.

This is actually pretty annoying ... When i afk train i get plants / dwarfs and so on like every 30 dang minutes !

 

i usually get that old man that gives presents, genies or that damn dwarf.

Ya some randoms are annoying but some of them are somewhat useful

i think so yes, based on the way randoms are programmed

 

It never fails, when i am trying to get somewhere fast and teleport, i always get a Mime or a drill demon or evil bob! Basically any random event that wastes 60+ seconds of my life. But then again i am playing runescape... I guess i can't complain about wasting my life.

 

Fastest place to get randoms is at stronghold of security (the old one)

 

security stonghold u just have to kill a rat and bury its bones and u get random almost everytime after 10 min periods

 

this works really good in the ankou place, u get a radnom like every 10mins, its good for the knowledge books etc
