Another 9 gp drop, they are connected, but that doesn't matter that raw went up. Raw could be cooked, but when cooked are sold, they are sold for below market.

    1. Alching the most popular alching items means you will lose money unless you make one of the items, in which case you don't need this tool because you are willing to engage more time to make the item. This tool will show items i.e. pouches, which you can't possibly remember the alch prices to all or the G.E. prices and therefore Profit or price required to breakeven. There are thousands of possible items you can alch.
Example: I trained from 82-94 mage on one of my accounts which is roughly 75k alchs. I made a profit of 30gp on each alch which made me 2.2M. It took me no extra time because I bought everything. I bought Fruit Bat pouches and some Iron Titan pouches (although they were harder to get hold of at required price). To find out that information I looked up 40 pouches on 'runehq.com' and the G.E. to find out the prices to buy, and the return when alched. It would have taken days to look up 1000 items!

    2. You can't click on screen when you are looking off screen, therefore you're comment is completely ridiculous. Only if you are doing training for example: at bandits, can you leave it on screen, but anything other than combat training, requires you to be on screen more than once every 5 minutes. If you intend to combat train then fair enough, but first think about others and that there are a lot more skills.

    3. You calling lazy people who play runescape poor? How the hell to you know what someone's demographic group is by gathering your opinions over the internet? Write the guides you like, but don't be patronising because many are capable of finding things out without being spoonfed by you who makes judgements about them.

That's All. The colours relate to the different points I wanted to make about different parts of Derly's comment.

I managed to sell 5k raws at max price overnight... Made 200k = about 4% return.

    1) I'll have to say that my choice of words "most popular" maybe was a bit exaggerated. I tend to stick around clan chats populated by many knowledgeably adept players as well as those willing and seeking to learn from them. That is where I gather my information on what items would be most beneficial to use, many of these players often don't stick to the most mainstream methods of training if it isn't the most efficient method. It would be by querying them that I would find what items are popular to alch among them, and then further my own research by branching out in the directions that they point toward.

    2) Something I tend to do training most skills is surf other regions of the internet. You can click a tree, then go read some news articles, a blog, a help site, and when your player ceases return to the tab playing runescape and resume play. This has become especially easier with the new 5 minute standby increase. I do this fletching, cooking, combat (if I did combat), fishing, woodcutting, etc. Of course there are skills where this style of playing would not work such as firemaking, mining, prayer, etc. So maybe practice what you preach and "think about others and that there are a lot more skills," that may be compatible with simultaneously surfing other websites like sythe.org.

3-a) No where did I state that lazy people are poor. Nor did I state that poor people are lazy. The features being offered for the VIP members, just seem to be based upon functions that players like myself do in a manual style. I'm not saying offering these things is in any way negative, almost all applications of science lead us to technology that provides a simpler and more efficient lifestyle. If you understood the main point of what I was trying point out it was that these are the types of features that don't entice me to want to spend my hard earned cash on. It's the same as someone not wanting to pay for a remote lock on their car door and wishing to save the money, or not wanting to pay for parking and having to walk a bit further to their destination.

3-b) You can't tell a specific person's demographic solely based upon opinions gathered on the internet. With opinions gathered based upon information given, you can form ideas of what types of demographics would be most suited or compatible with some form of feature. And one demographic doesn't completely define any group, it will always overlap with other demographics that may vastly contrast another. For me to write a guide "patronizing" players, I don't intend to treat others with condescension. My goal would be to inform others with knowledge they may choose to apply to their own actions. If someone doesn't need to be given information that is reported in a guide, then the guide wasn't written for them. If someone does learn from the information then the guide was written for their benefit.

Please don't take this with any hostility, that is usually never my intention. I'm only trying to create greater definition of points, where you may have misinterpreted anything I previously posted. If there is any further confusion, then please do respond.

Also, Black flowers and Loop halves of keys are taking huge drops. Any of you who like to invest on items that will "bounce" then keep your eye on these. The flowers are already well below their 30-day average and the half keys are just now meeting that average. Both items appear to still have some time left to drop some more, but you can expect that as soon as the drop slows, it's going to be near impossible to purchase at minimum. I'll probably start stocking up within 2-3 more updates at the most.

Fair enough. I guess having a clan chat full of people all doing the same research on alching/ or already done that research, is quite a useful tool in itself, and therefore you are lucky that you don't have to pay for that service unlike the idea being put forward here. If you would like to share your contacts in the ''alching area,'' I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated by all, just by giving a starting point to expand on by whoever takes the opportunity.
I agree It may be a high price to pay on top of monthly membership to Runescape, and therefore if the alchemy tool was the only application offered, I would agree that it is over priced. On the otherhand, it isn't the only thing, therefore I don't have a problem with the pricing, and I don't know whether you agree with the other areas, but at the end of the day, someone has to put in the effort to create it, and if people are willing to pay for that service then I say fair enough to them: I think Merchant_In_The_Dark does a very good job of running this forum, and it is a great opportunity to earn some cash :D
    A fair conclusion?

To be quite fair, I already stated, that the feature I'm most interested in is the higher quality of investing tips. However, as none of us have yet see how these tips will be of a higher calibre, I did say I will most likely buy a month worth of VIP for a test run. What I'm hoping for is a greater heads up on future prospects, as well as prospects with a more calculated and predictable profit potential. That sounds rather vague, but thats really all I expect. Maybe it'll be better than what I expect, in that case I'll enjoy paying for VIP.

I was not surprised at all, when i told you all they will drop very heavily. No i don't think they will go up to 1k, they will go max up to 900 gp.

I bought six dragon platebodies the day before the rise, but I sold today - they will not continue to rise for long (they're about to hit the 30-day).

This is an example of what the V.I.P. items would be.

Unless you can get DH legs at med don't go for it. Expect them to raise for only 2-3 days, then on the last day a slowed raise mean they're going to sell at minimum that same day.

An 8 gp drop today, as expected, but can you see the pattern now? The raw sharks went up 6 gp and cooked went down 8. Tomorrow they will drop less, id say 5 gp, then around 1-2 and then they will start rising again. They won't rise till 1k, or at least i don't think so. Probably 900 gp :) I might be wrong, but that is what i think will happen.

um you are correct about people leeching the item, but the price wouldn't drop. It would raise and that would make the item useless. If it did drop, that would just mean a larger profit.
