I honestly don't believe Jagex does much price manipulation. They do very little if any. It's all about the players. The way prices drop all depends on how players buy and sell, and actual demand. In the past I've seen Santa's go from 100k to 600k during x-mas, but because everyone was trying to sell them for so much, even at x-mas no one wanted to buy them. I think that's the current trend right now. The demand is amazingly low, and offers for them are at an all time low. It's just driving the price of them down.

 

Obsidian capes are starting to come out of their slump. Been going up a lot lately.

 

Jagex does manipulate, but only when they have a strong reason to. I don't think they'll let Santas stay this low for long.

 

I really don't think they're manipulating it. There is no reason to drop santa's so low. It does nothing to fix the games broken economy. If anything people just start hoarding them.

If they want to help stabilize the economy they should do what WoW does, and make you pay for putting up offers in the GE. And also leach a small bit of the profits. It would slightly help even out the economy since there is nothing that really takes money out. There is a limitless supply because of things like Alchemy and actually Coinshare. It generates money from no where. I think Jagex knows that too, that they'd be better off, without manipulation at this point, and that they kinda made a boo boo by not sucking money out of the economy.

EDIT: Santa's are up 120K. Last time they only rose 50K before dropping again. Lets hope they get back above 16M this time so I can actually profit on it. If not I guess I'll just have to buy another.

 

guthix pages started to fall, i would advise anyone to get rid of them ASAP, i think they're all going to drop by tomorrow

saradomin and zamorak pages still look strong though, i've sold 1 saradomin page and it sold instant for max, so i give them a few more days.

EDIT- i sold off most of my guthix pages for medium-high price, only page i cant sell is number 4 which already started plummeting, get rid of that page ASAP

saradomin page 1 is also showing signs of tapering off, i'd advise selling them now, you can keep the other pages though

 

I bought yesterday and they are on the rise now so thanks you got the timing all right! Now to hold onto them for a while

I honestly have the feeling he leeched the santa idea from here. Being as he's 2 days late, and just noticing it during it's 50k rise.

qp, i just looked at the Zerker necklace graph, they do seem like they're heading for a rise, but what makes you think they'll go up to 320k?

When did zerker necklaces begin to fall?

 

I really don't think zerker necklaces are going to do well. I mean look the the graph its just straight down down down. Yes they have had little rises here or there but overall it just plummeted for the last 2 months

 

berserker necklaces look like an investment that will last 2-3 days max, i dont see a huge rise here, just a small price bounce followed by a drop

i'll hold my money for a better item

Hi I heard you guys were looking for a few good items to buy next and I got them here:

1.Black masks first, because they just fell and now are starting to rise

2.Granite (500g) It has had a steady flow increasing for the last few days, but I am not too sure about there

3. Pure ess, they have been going steady for a while and I think they are finally gonna go back up

4. Lobsters, I think even though raw lobs prices are going down, these will raise for 2-4 more days at max.





Some items i found, Seers rings, rune crossbows (again) and for crossbows if they aren't selling you could buy rune limbs and fletch yourself for less profit but free fletch exp.
