Why is someone entitled ex-moderator? Has he or she done something wrong? Or is it just because you can only be such a title for a set period of time?

ps: Is it just me or have those people with big text lay-outs another interface to create their texts? I don't immediately see an easy way to create it with the interface given.

It's normally given to someone if they choose to retire or if they are fired for whatever reason. Something along the lines of leaving.

If someone has been a good, hard-working staff member for 2 months and decides to step down they are given an ex-moderator rank.

[IMG] is given out to staff who in most cases have resigned and are worthy of having an ex-moderator rank so people can see they were once a part of the staff. You need to have been a staff member for at least a minimum of 3 months (unless special circumstances occur) to be eligible for one.

Aight; that clears things up. And what about the special text lay outs?

How do you mean 'special text layouts'? Do you mean the text that appears under everyone's username? If so, it's called a 'User Title', these change as your post count increases. However, you can change it yourself and add colours and such if you donate to the site and such.

No not those. I mean the text in posts itself. For example this : http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=1031781

I know that's a way professional seller and I don't need all that. I just want to tune up a bit my account selling threads.

Oh that, it's basically just changing the formatting of your text. You should see all the options on the screen where you go to make a post.

If it is that easy I'll give it a go tomorrow. You can look at my threads if you wish. They are in my signature.

My idea about them is that they don't come over well. :(

They're not THAT bad, you don't have to put big titles in and such, but it does make it look more cleaner and presentable.

You should see something like this on the make a post screen:

All the options there will let you change the way your text will look and function.

Of course I do see that as I've already used it in my thread. But there are some functions I don't detect in that small box. Anyway, I'll now be off to bed and I'll try to make my threads more decent tomorrow so they are perhaps more appealing to the public.
